摘要 A corrosion-resistant austenitic steel is claimed which, in each case relative to 100 mass percent, contains 20 to 32% manganese, 10 to 15% chromium, a total of 0.5 to 1.3% carbon and nitrogen, wherein the ratio of carbon to nitrogen is 0.5 to 1.5, the remainder being iron and melt-related impurities. The claimed steel can be produced and processed at normal pressure and has TWIP properties. It is in particular suited for producing structural components in constructs, such as in the automotive industry.
