A flat display apparatus is provided to eliminate an air gap between a drive-chip mounting portion and a frame, thereby improving a cooling efficiency of drive chips. A flat display apparatus includes a frame(109), a panel(103) attached to a front side of the frame, a printed circuit board(110) fixed to a rear side of the frame for generating a drive signal to drive the panel, and a coupling member(130) transmitting the drive signal from the printed circuit board to the panel. A drive-chip mounting portion is formed on the rear side of the frame, and drive chips are mounted on the drive-chip mounting portion. A region in which the drive chips are mounted and a front surface opposite to the region are contacted with the rear side of the frame. |
