A method for displaying a speaker using multimedia in a PTT(Push-To-Talk) service is provided to allow a PTT service subscriber to register a multimedia file for displaying a speaker with his/her own personality and use it by providing a supplementary service for registering, correcting, and deleting the multimedia file. The user of a mobile terminal A(102) presses a hot key to turn on it(S400) and transmits a talk burst request signal(S402). Upon receiving the talk burst request signal, an MRC(Multimedia Resource Controller)(150) transmits a talk burst request INFO signal to a PTT server(130)(S404). The PTT server(130) checks whether to grant the talk burst and transmits a talk burst grant 200 OK signal to the MRC(150)(S406). The MRC(150) receives a multimedia file to which the mobile terminal A(102) has previously registered, and transmits a talk burst approval signal to the mobile terminal A(102). Upon receiving the talk burst approval signal, the mobile terminal A(102) obtains the talk burst(S408). The MRC(150) transmits a talk burst obtain notification signal informing that the mobile terminal A(102) has obtained the talk burst to mobile terminals B and C(104,106)(S410). |
