PURPOSE: A location information supplying method and apparatus thereof are provided to extracts information within an average distance corresponding to a measuring type and to select optimum information of the extracted information. CONSTITUTION: An information receiving unit(230) receives a location measuring result value about a terminal. An error distance extracting unit(240) extracts average error distance corresponding to a measuring type. A POI(Point of Interest) extracting unit(250) extracts the entire POI within the error distance range. A POI selecting unit(260) selects optimum POI which is suitable for user inclination information and moving pattern information. An information providing unit(270) provides the optimum POI to the terminal.
