<p>Transition section (4) wall thicknesses (WD) exceed those (WD1) in the end sections (2) and the central region (3) of the torsion profile (1), by 10%-30%. In the transition sections (4), the circular cross section of the end sections change into the U-shaped cross section of the central section. In a similar variant, the wall thickness (D1) of the torsion profile in the circumferential region with the deformations (25) in the transition sections and in the central section (3), exceeds the wall thickness (D2) in the remaining circumferential region.
