PURPOSE: A monitoring apparatus of a power amplifier using a portable terminal and control method thereof are provided to enable a user to effectively monitor a power amplifier apparatus by detecting output power information through an output power detection unit. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting central control unit(300) receives a first sound source information created by plural sound source units. A portable terminal(100) creates second sound source information and output control information. A web server(200) receives the output control information and the second sound source information from the portable terminal. The web server transmits the received second sound source information and output control information to the broadcasting central control unit. A wireless communication apparatus transmits the first sound source information and the second sound source information received from the broad casting central control unit to a PA(Public Address) amplifier apparatus.
