PURPOSE: An array substrate for a display device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to prevent channel failure by the astigmatism of exposure process by unifying the direction of a channel of a thin film transistor. CONSTITUTION: A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) includes a gate electrode(122), a gate insulating film, an active layer(126), an ohmic contact layer, a source electrode(132), and a drain electrode(134). The source electrode and drain electrode define a spacing area. The spacing area is composed of the third region to the first of a different direction. In at least one area among the third region to the first region, the active layer is removed. |
