BACK LIGHT UNIT AND DISPLAY APPARATUS EMPLOYING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A back light unit and a display device employing the same are provided to orderly control the light emitting direction by the control of the direction of collimation light. CONSTITUTION: Light source units(20,30) provides the collimated light. In order to make the light emitting direction of the light to be plural, the light source unit controls the light. A light guide plate(40) includes a light guide unit(45) and a light emitting unit(47). The light guiding plat is processed by totally and internally reflecting the emitted light. A plurality of light emitting unit is projected to the single side of the light guide unit. The light emitting unit lights the progressed light to an external side with reflection.
