<p>A portable device for cervical inspection, comprising a plurality of light-emitting diodes comprising a first light-emitting diode group and a second light-emitting diode group, wherein the first light-emitting diode group emits light within a first wavelength range upon operation, and the second light-emitting diode group emits light within a second wavelength range upon operation, wherein the first wavelength range comprises a sub-range of wavelengths shorter than the wavelengths of the second wavelength range, and the second wavelength range comprises a sub-range of wavelengths longer than the wavelengths of the first wavelength range, the portable device further comprising a controller provided for a control of the luminous intensity of the second light-emitting diode group from a first intensity to a second intensity, lower than the first intensity, such that a preferred color rendering for the visual examination of the cervix may be provided.</p> |
