The weight (10) has a connection element (30) connecting a circular arc shaped solid peripheral ring (20) at the pivoting center of the weight, and permitting visibility of a dial and/or hands of an automatic watch. The connection element has a metallic asymmetric support base on which natural or synthetic stones (32) are fixed, where one of the stones is a diamond. The metallic support base extends around a bearing (40). The stones partially enclose the bearing. The metallic support base has a set of arms (31) that connects the bearing with the peripheral ring. An independent claim is also included for an automatic watch comprising a movement.
