PURPOSE: A number seven signal routing optimizing method using internet network and system thereof are provided to optimize a number seven signal routing progress by using M2PA(MTP2 Peer-to-Peer Adaptation Layer) protocol of a signal gateway connected with the internet network. CONSTITUTION: A first and a second soft switches(141, 142) changes usable packet signals in the internet network. The first and the second soft switches routes a number seven signal which is converted to the packet signals. A first and a second signal gateways(131, 132) receive the number seven signal from a signal relay point. The first and the second signal gateways route the received number seven signal to the first and the second soft switches. The first and the second signal gateways receive the number seven signal changed to the packet signal by the first and the second soft switches. The first and the second signal gateways routes the received number seven signal to a peer signal gateway through the internet network.
