#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a ceramic central cover, and a flag shaped elementary exchanger including exchanger tubes that are connected to an inlet manifold (5) and an outlet manifold (6), respectively. The exchanger tubes are superposed for blocking incident radiation. Each tube is in the form of hairpin with a loop (4) at its pinhead and two joined branches (2, 3) that are superposed in a vertical manner, where an end of the tube at the level of the pinhead is free. The tubes are self-supported at their ends connected to the manifolds. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Heat exchange device i.e. heater, for use in a boiler or a steam generator of a thermodynamic concentrated solar power plant (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The ceramic central cover can totally conceal the inlet and outlet manifolds with respect to incident radiation, thus avoiding any thermal constraints due to bilame type differential expansion in the exchanger tubes. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a perspective view of exchanger tubes having hairpin shape and connected to inlet and outlet manifolds. 2, 3 : Joined branches 4 : Loop 5 : Inlet manifold 6 : Outlet manifold. |
