The method involves forming a three-dimensional fibrous structure (300) by weaving metal strands (301) formed of a set of metal bits twisted with each other around a longitudinal axis of each metal strand, where diameter of each bit is smaller than 0.1 mm. The fibrous structure is isostatically hot-pressed to cause agglomeration of the metal strands of the fibrous structure to obtain a massive piece, where the strands are made from titanium or different materials. An independent claim is also included for a fibrous structure formed by weaving of metal strands.
