The device (1) has a rail (3) i.e. hollow rail, arranged in an upper part of the device to manage a housing (4) to receive an edge of a covering element. The rail comprises a longitudinal cavity (12) for flow of water. The rail includes draining units for draining the water from outside toward interior of the cavity. The rail includes an external groove (13) managed longitudinally and connected to the cavity via crossing channels (14). Additional channels (16) connect the housing to the cavity.
