Cosmetic use of an extract of Musa sapientum to stimulate the production of collagen type I to fight against skin aging and to prevent and/or limit the appearance of signs of skin aging

Cosmetic use of Musa sapientumextract (I) to stimulate the production of collagen type I, is claimed. An independent claim is included for a cosmetic method of stimulating the production of collagen type I comprising applying (I) or a composition comprising (I) on the skin. ACTIVITY : Dermatological. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Collagen I production stimulator; Fibronectin production stimulator. The ability of (I) (0.1%) to stimulate fibronectin production was tested by measuring fluorescence intensity. The result showed that the percentage of intensity variation was 257%.
