PURPOSE: An apparatus for protecting heating for a power supply device and an electronic device including the same are provided to extend the life span of a device for supplying power by preventing heat from generating in a power supply apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit(102) supplies power. A temperature sensing unit(104) senses a current inner temperature at a power supply state through a power supply unit. A temperature comparison unit(106) compares a reference inner temperature, which is already saved, with the current inner temperature. A ventilation fan operation unit(108) selectively operates a ventilation fan depending on a current internal temperature state by receiving the current inner temperature which is compared with the reference inner temperature. A power control unit(110) selectively controls the power supply unit depending on the current internal temperature state by receiving the current inner temperature which is compared with the reference inner temperature.
