PURPOSE: A battery sensor for a vehicle is provided to measure the internal resistance of a battery for calculating the cold cranking ampere, and the charging state of the battery. CONSTITUTION: A battery sensor(1) for a vehicle for calculating the charging state of a battery(B) for the vehicle capable of charging and discharging electric energy comprises the following: a sensing unit(10) including a temperature sensor(11) for measuring the temperature of the batter, a voltage measuring sensor(12) for measuring the voltage of the battery, and an internal resistance measuring sensor(13) for measuring the internal resistance of the battery; and a controller(20) estimating the current battery condition based on the information obtained from the sensing unit, calculating the battery charging condition, and transmitting the obtained battery charging condition to an electronic control unit(E) of the vehicle.
