PURPOSE: A high efficiency amplifier with reduced EMI is provided to reduce EMI(Electro-Magnetic Interference) by efficiently driving a switched power amplifier. CONSTITUTION: An output stage(280) provides a signal of high power to a load. A first overlap protection circuit(250a) generates timing non-overlap from a first control signal for the output stage. A first edge control circuit(260a) slowly forms a transient part of the signal with high power. The first edge control circuit reduces EMI by decreasing overshoot and undershoot of the signal with high power. |
