The method involves labeling a desired stock pile (4.1) by a control device e.g. laser pointer, so that position of the stock pile is detected based on video recordings of an environment socket system. Position coordinates of the detected stock pile are obtained by detecting movement of the control device, where the position coordinates are transmitted to a transport vehicle (2). The labeled stock pile is filled with stored materials (3, 5), and the stored materials outsourced from the labeled stock pile is removed. An independent claim is also included for a system for loading or unloading a stockroom using a transport vehicle.
