<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass hydrolyzing device rapidly hydrolyzing cellulose, and capable of continuously utilizing a solid acid catalyst by separating it from an unreacted solid content (lignin or the like). <P>SOLUTION: The biomass hydrolyzing device hydrolyzes cellulose contained in the biomass raw material by contacting the biomass dispersion obtained by dispersing the biomass raw material in water, with the solid acid catalyst, wherein the biomass hydrolyzing device includes a catalyst adhering support body on which the solid acid catalyst adheres to the support body, a reactor containing the catalyst adhering support body and the biomass dispersion, and moving means for moving the catalyst adhering supporting body in the reactor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
