<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decrease in the opportunity and frequency of idling stop by suspending the regeneration of a DPF (diesel particulate filter) and executing the idling stop while keeping the DPF at a high temperature during the idling stop to allow the regeneration of the DPF to rapidly resume at automatic restarting of an engine from the idling stop. <P>SOLUTION: When shifting to idling operation during the regeneration of the DPF, the idling stop is performed while interrupting the regeneration of the DPF, and after subsequent automatic restarting of the engine, the regeneration of the DPF is resumed. Execution of the idling stop is delayed from a time a0 for shifting to the idling operation to a time a1 for starting the idling stop so that the DPF temperature of a diesel particulate filter at starting of the idling stop becomes higher than at least a DPF temperature when shifting to the idling operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
