摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery system having a large volume and a good responsiveness to charging and discharging. <P>SOLUTION: A storage battery system comprises: a large volume storage battery 13 which charges a surplus power as well as discharges a deficient power in response to a load fluctuation in a power system 11; a charging lithium battery 15 whose charge depth is maintained at a predetermined charging charge depth of less than 50% for rapidly charging power from the power system; and a discharging lithium battery 16 whose charge depth is maintained at a predetermined discharging charge depth equal to or more than 50% for rapidly discharging power to the power system. A control apparatus 17 normally connects the large volume storage battery 13 to the power system 11 by a connection switching device 14 to control charging/discharging. When a rapid charging becomes necessary due to the load fluctuation in the power system, the control apparatus 17 connects the charging lithium battery 15 to the power system 11 by the connection switching device 14 to control charging. When a rapid discharging becomes necessary due to the load fluctuation in the power system 11, the control apparatus 17 connects the discharging lithium battery 16 to the power system 11 by the connection switching device 14 to control discharging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
