<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical agent for modulating tim-3 activity (T cell Immunoglobulin and Mucin domain containing molecule) binding to galectin-9; to provide the pharmaceutical agent for treating a hyperplastic condition such as cancer in a subject; and to provide the pharmaceutical agent for modulating immune responses. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the pharmaceutical agent containing: a therapeutically effective amount of human soluble tim-3 peptide; an antibody; and an antibody fragment.
