<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of easily setting a degree of risk and reducing a computation load. <P>SOLUTION: A certain road link is set as a reference road link when a degree of risk of a road in map data is set. A road link having an analogous determination factor near this point is regarded as the identical determination area on the basis of determination factors, such as road form, road surface conditions, traffic condition, and roadside environment, at this point. If the degree of risk concerning the reference road link is requested, the whole road links in the same determination area as this reference road link are set to the same degree of risk. A map of the degree of risk can be created very easily and with reduced computation load by setting the degree of risk of each road in this manner, and can be useful for driving support. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
