<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic discrimination device for a file storing a version upgrade program for rewriting a control program of a storage unit of a controller. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic discrimination device 10 for a file that rewrites a control program of a storage unit 14 of a controller from an old version to a new version includes a CPU 12 that rewrites the control program from an old version to a new version on the basis of a version upgrade program in a file with a predetermined extension transferred via FTP from a data transmission device 24 inserted into a LAN input port 22 of the automatic discrimination device. The CPU 12 includes: recognition means 30 for recognizing the file transferred from the data transmission device 24 on the basis of the extension; and apparatus ID discrimination means 32 for reading the file recognized by the recognition means 30 from the beginning, and then, when an apparatus ID in the file matches an apparatus ID in the storage unit 14, starting reading the rest of the file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
