<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for predicting natural ground and drilling a tunnel capable of drilling a tunnel by simply predicting natural ground situation ahead of a working face through a daily construction management. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention includes the works of: installing an inclinometer 11, after drilling a tunnel T to a first working face K1, on a top end section of the tunnel with a distance a in a direction from the first working face K1 toward a tunnel entrance side; measuring a first inclination angle θ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>at the top end section of the tunnel with the inclinometer 11 after drilling for a distance b ahead of the first work face K1; installing a second inclinometer 12, after drilling to a second working face K2 further ahead of the first work face K1, on the top end section of the tunnel with a distance a in the direction from the second working face K2 toward the tunnel entrance; and measuring a second inclination angle θ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>at the top end section of the tunnel with the inclinometer 12 after drilling the distance b ahead of the second work face K2. Then, natural ground situation ahead of the second work face K2 is predicted by comparing the first inclination angle θ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and the second inclination angle θ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
