<p>The device (1) has a tubular element (2) with two pipe sections (3, 4) that exhibit respective walls (5, 6). The pipe sections exhibit pipe cross-sections with respective cross section areas (7, 8). One of the pipe sections is arranged adjacent to the other pipe section downstream to flow directions (100, 200). The walls are extended parallel to the flow directions. A ratio of one of the cross section areas to the other cross section area lies in a range between 1.02 and 1.2, where the cross section areas are formed in a circular shape. The pipe section exhibit respective lengths (9, 10). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a device for measuring a flow rate of a medium.</p> |
