PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operation time of an automation apparatus while cooperating with a portable terminal and also suppress development cost of the automation apparatus more than before.

SOLUTION: An operation guide system according to the invention includes: one or more automation apparatuses for taking in information necessary for processing of a host computer that executes one or more processing from operation display means and providing the information to the host computer; operation procedure information storage means for storing one or more pieces of operation procedure information that shows operation procedure in each automation apparatus; and operation procedure information provision means for providing requested operation procedure information to a portable terminal, when an acquisition request of the operation procedure information from the portable terminal is accepted.
