<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a insulator structure of a resolver which can fix a stator core and the insulator without adding processes. <P>SOLUTION: A concavity 221 is provided in a part which contacts a stator core of an insulator 201, and a through-hole 222 is provided in the concavity 221. The insulator 201 is attached to the stator core and perform processes of winding the coil of a stator coil, winding the edge of the coil around a terminal pin 210, and fixing the coil by applying varnish. When the varnish is applied, the varnish is injected from the through-hole 222 to the concavity 221 to accumulate the varnish in the concavity 221.
