<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor monitoring system which can suitably determine an abnormality concerning meandering of a belt. <P>SOLUTION: The belt conveyor monitoring system 1 includes a belt conveyor 10 having the belt which carries a load, a limit switch 30 for detecting a deviation in a width direction of the belt, and a monitoring unit 60 for determining the abnormality concerning meandering of the belt based on a detection result of the limit switch 30. When time during which a deviation in the width direction of the belt is detected by the limit switch 30 exceeds a threshold value in a predetermined period, the monitoring unit 60 determines the presence of abnormality concerning meandering of the belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
