<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traverser carrier, capable of reducing equipment cost and power cost by negating the need for independently providing a drive source, a sensor and a control device on each traverse carrier. <P>SOLUTION: The truck carrying device provided with traverser carriers used for movement of a surface plate truck 4 between opposed truck carrying paths 6, 8 includes: a drive unit 70 which is provided between a first traverser carrier 7 and a second traverser carrier 9 to generate a rotary toque as drive force; a drive force transmitting means 50 which simultaneously transmits the rotary torque of the drive unit to the first traverser carrier and the second traverser carrier; and a drive force conversion means 54, 58, 60 which is provided on each of the first and second traverser carrier to convert the rotary torque transmitted from the drive force transmission means to a force for moving each truck mount base 42 along first and second tracks 40, 62 respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
