<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for inspecting a crossing gate capable of easily measuring a sliding current. <P>SOLUTION: When inspecting a crossing gate 1, the tool for inspecting the crossing gate is used for inspection for measuring the sliding current flowing in a motor when the rise of a crossing bar 5 is regulated, the crossing bar 5 is held in an inclined state, and a friction clutch provided between the motor and the crossing bar 5 is made to forcibly slide.
