<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color composition for a stable color filter being excellent in color characteristic, heat-resistance, light resistance and solvent resistance and preventing generation of foreign matter in a coated film, and a color filter using the same, having good color characteristics and being excellent in heat-resistance, light resistance and solvent resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In a color composition for a color filter which contains colorant, a resin and an organic solvent, the colorant contains a salt forming compound (A) comprising an acidic dye and a quaternary ammonium salt compound having molecular weight of a cation moiety in the range of 190 to 900; the organic solvent contains an organic solvent (S) having a boiling point of 120 to 210°C at 760 mmHg and a solubility parameter (=sp value) of 8.8(cal/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>)<SP POS="POST">1/2</SP>or more and less than 13.0(cal/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>)<SP POS="POST">1/2</SP>; and the content of the organic solvent (S) is 5 to 100 wt.% based on the total solvent amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
