<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional (3D) imaging apparatus and a 3D image display method capable of improving visibility of stereoscopic viewing when displaying an object image on display means of the 3D imaging apparatus as a 3D image. <P>SOLUTION: The 3D imaging apparatus comprises: a plurality of shooting means for shooting an object; shutter buttons; display means for displaying a two-dimensional (2D) image or a 3D image consisting of a plurality of images obtained by shooting the identical object from a plurality of view points by the plurality of the shooting means; display switching means for switching the images displayed on the display means; and OSD (On-Screen Display) control means for controlling display of OSD information including icons for focus control superimposed and displayed on the image displayed on the display means. If the 2D image is displayed, the OSD control means displays the icons for focus control according to half-depression operation of a shutter button.
