<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a circuit area. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse conversion circuit comprises a logic circuit which receives a first signal and outputs a second signal. The logic circuit includes a P-type transistor whose gate receives the first signal and which controls whether the voltage of the second signal is set at first voltage in accordance with the voltage at the gate, and an N-type transistor of an enhancement type with an absolute value of the threshold voltage higher than that of the P-type transistor, whose gate receives the first signal and which controls whether the voltage of the second signal is set at second voltage that is higher than the first voltage in accordance with the voltage at the gate. The P-type transistor includes a semiconductor layer that is provided with a channel and that contains an element of Group 14, and the N-type transistor includes an oxide semiconductor layer that is provided with a channel and that has a carrier concentration of less than 1×10<SP POS="POST">14</SP>/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
