<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge and discharge device for storage batteries to prevent output currents of storage batteries from being unbalanced and to eliminate a necessity of arbitration circuits or the like, by configuring a control unit with a single control unit for controlling bus voltage at a constant voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A charge and discharge device for storage batteries comprises: a plurality of current sensors disposed at each voltage source unit to detect buttery currents running through each voltage source unit; a battery current calculating part to obtain an average value or a sum of each battery current detected by the plurality of current sensors; a PWM generator for generating PWM signals to drive bidirectional choppers based on a value which is obtained by comparing a value corresponding to a difference between the bus voltage and a predetermined bus voltage command value with the average value or the sum of each battery current; and a PWM distributor to distribute the PWM signals to each of the bidirectional choppers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
