<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring bookbinding device capable of creating a booklet by the use of a ring binder having a size mostly fit to a paper sheet bundle, and creating a booklet where sizes of rings are uniformed even if binding a plurality of paper sheet bundles into the booklet by the rings, and to provide an image forming system including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The ring bookbinding device binds the paper sheet bundle where a plurality of holes are perforated at one side of each paper sheet and where the paper sheets are aligned by the ring binder. In the ring bookbinding device, when determining the size of the ring binder to be used, a size of the ring binder to be used is selected from the inputted paper sheet information of the paper sheet bundle, the size is set as a first size, a size of the ring binder to be used is selected from a thickness of the paper sheet bundle measured by a thickness measurement means, the size is set as a second size, and the first size and the second size are compared. When both the sizes are equal, a ring bookbinding means is operated by the ring binder of the size. The image forming system includes the ring bookbinding device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
