摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an organic-inorganic hybrid thermoelectric material having low thermal conductivity as well as high Seebeck coefficient and electric conductivity and stably exhibiting excellent thermoelectric characteristics; a thermoelectric conversion element using the thermoelectric material; and a method for manufacturing an organic-inorganic hybrid thermoelectric material. <P>SOLUTION: An organic-inorganic hybrid thermoelectric material according to the present invention uses, as an inorganic thermoelectric material, an inorganic particle having a mean particle diameter of 1-100 nm and including substantially no protective agent. Since the inorganic particle efficiently enters a gap between organic thermoelectric materials to be dispersed, the organic-inorganic hybrid thermoelectric material has high Seebeck coefficient and electric conductivity as well as low thermal conductivity.
