<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a sensor device detecting an axial position of a manual valve, while suppressing increase in size of an automatic transmission. <P>SOLUTION: A range switching device 1 controls an actuator device 10 according to a shift command from a shift lever 71 and a detection result of a sensor device 20 detecting a position of the manual valve 53, and performs drive control of the manual valve 53 in an axial direction, to switch a shift range. The sensor device 20 is constituted of: a moving shaft 21 moving in synchronization with the manual valve 53; a sensor body 22 movably supporting the moving shaft 21; and a Hall element 24 detecting a movement position of the moving shaft 21. The moving shaft 21 and the sensor body 22 are disposed in parallel with the manual valve 53, and are arranged along an upper end face 51A of the valve body. This configuration structure prevents the increase in size of the automatic transmission on which the range switching device 1 is mounted, and provides good vehicle mounting properties. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
