<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine ignition device which improves the acceleration performance and deceleration performance of an engine and meets different requirements made at acceleration and deceleration of the engine. <P>SOLUTION: The engine ignition device includes an ignition time control unit 14 which controls an ignition time in correspondence to a rotating speed of an engine in accordance with ignition time control characteristics 22 and 23. The ignition time control unit 14 includes an acceleration ignition time control characteristic 22 having a timing advance characteristic 22c which, at acceleration, increases ignition timing advance from low timing advance to high timing advance, and a deceleration ignition time control characteristic 23 having a timing delay characteristic 23c which, at deceleration, decreases ignition timing from high timing advance to low timing advance at a rotating speed higher than a rotating speed for the timing advance characteristic 22c of the acceleration ignition time control characteristic 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
