TRANSGENIC MICE EXPRESSING HUMAN FERRITIN IN A MANNER NON-SPECIFIC TO TISSUE, AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a recombinant vector and to transgenic mice expressing human ferritin in a manner non-specific to tissue. More particularly, the present invention relates to a vector in which a promoter containing a cytomegalovirus early enhancer element and â-actin promoter is operatively connected to a human ferritin gene. The present invention also relates to transgenic mice which are transformed with the vector, and which express human ferritin in a manner non-specific to tissue. The present invention also relates to a method for producing the transgenic mice, and to a method for monitoring cells or tissue treatment using the transgenic mice.
