METHOD OF CONTROLLING PLANT ROOT HAIR GROWTH WITH PLA2 AND THE PLANTS THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for controlling root hair growth of a plant by PLA2 gene is provided to search genes which control root hair growth in other plants. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling root hair growth of a plant comprises a step of controlling expression of a gene encoding PLA2(phospholipaase A2) in a plant. The root hair growth is controlled by regulating transport of PLA2 protein into a plasma membrane of PIN protein. A mutant gene encoding the PLA2 protein is a knock out mutant. A PLA2 protein inhibitor is ONO(2-(p-amylcinnamoyl)amino-4-chlorobenzoic acid). A gene encoding PLA2 protein has a base sequence selected from sequence numbers 1-4. A composition for controlling the root hair growth contains the gene.
