PURPOSE: A method for controlling plant root hair growth by auxin transporter expression is provided to search genes controlling the extension. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant plant expression vector contains a gene with a base sequence selected from sequence numbers 1-7, which is derived from Arabidopsis thaliana. A method for controlling the extension comprises a step of introducing a recombinant plant expression vector to a plant. A composition for controlling plant root hair growth extension contains a gene having a base selected from sequence numbers 1-7.
