<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration that allows operation with a low current consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A microcontroller comprises: a data input part for outputting, in response to input data, a start request signal according to the input data; an oscillator, which is started in response to the start request signal, for generating a clock signal; a clock signal supply control part for supplying a clock signal, which is generated by the oscillator after the start request signal from the data input part is output to the oscillator and the oscillator has started, as a first clock signal that is an operation clock signal for the data input part and a second clock signal; and a CPU, operating using the second clock signal as an operation clock, for performing processing according to the input data during the operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
