<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component attachment device and a component feeding device which can improve productivity, and especially accommodates to a wide cover tape. <P>SOLUTION: The component attachment device has an attachment part which attaches a component to a substrate, and a component feeding device which feeds the component to the attachment part. The component feeding device has a conveyance part which conveys a component storage part storing the component, a cutting part which cuts a cover tape at the component storage part in parallel with the conveyance direction of the conveyance part, a cover tape opening part 33 which changes advance direction of the cover tape thus cut downward for the conveyance direction, and a component take-out hole 34 arranged in the rear of a component exposed part.
