<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rosin emulsion sizing agent which is excellent in terms of an environmental aspect, a sanitation aspect and sizing performance without using epihalohydrin substantially. <P>SOLUTION: A paper making rosin emulsion sizing agent is a resin emulsion obtained through phase inversion emulsification of rosin substances in the presence of polyamide polyamine (a1) and water soluble acids (a2). The sizing agent includes a resin emulsion (A) in which the amount of the water soluble acids (a2) used is 30 to 75% of protons in the equivalent ratio with respect to all amino groups included in the polyamide polyamine (a1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
