<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of an engine generator capable of reducing fuel consumption as well as miniaturizing an engine generator and reducing manufacturing cost, by controlling operation state of the engine generator in accordance with the operation state of an apparatus such as a pump for switching between start and stop. <P>SOLUTION: When a determination result is apparatus stop, an engine is switched to an idling state or a stop state, and a power supply circuit 23 or an excitation circuit 24 of an automatic voltage adjuster 22 of an engine generator is shielded to stop generation state of a power generator 21. When the determination result is apparatus start, the engine comes to a normal operation state, and an electric power equivalent to shortage of a generator initial excitation power coming from the automatic voltage adjuster is supplied from an auxiliary power source (battery 26), and further, the excitation circuit or power source circuit of the automatic voltage adjuster is turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
