Disclosed is an organic EL display panel having excellent light emitting efficiency by easily and finely adjusting the film thickness of an organic layer by emission color, while forming the organic layer by a wet method. Each of the recessed sections (15a, 15b, 15c) is formed on the anode plate (5) of a sub-pixel of each color, the volume of the recessed section (15a) formed on each anode plate (5a) included in an anode plate group for blue color is set larger than the volumes of the recessed sections (15b, 15c) formed on respective anode plates (5b, 5c) included in anode plate groups for green color and red color, and the quantity of an organic layer (9) that enters the recessed section (15a) is set larger than the quantities of organic layers (9) that enter the recessed sections (15b, 15c). Consequently, the film thickness of the organic layer (9) formed in a blue sub-pixel region other than the recessed section (15a) is set less than the film thicknesses of the organic layers (9) formed in green and red sub-pixel regions other than the recessed sections (15b, 15c). |
