If the result of the front assessment and/or the result of the rear assessment is/are positive, an inter-vehicular distance acquisition unit (750) calculates the distance to the vehicle in front and/or the distance to the vehicle behind. In addition, a derivation unit (760A) refers to map information within a storage unit (710) on the basis of the current position of the vehicle (CR), and after identifying road attributes containing inclination information of the roads upon which the vehicle (CR) will be traveling in the future, refers to maximum recharge efficiency information within the storage unit (710) in order to obtain the most efficient speed of the vehicle (CR). Subsequently, the derivation unit (760A), on the basis of the obtained most efficient speed, the assessment results by the assessment unit (740), and the calculation result by the inter-vehicular distance acquisition unit (750), derives driving maneuver information to recommend from the viewpoint of balancing improvement of recharge efficiency using regenerative energy with traffic safety.</p>
