This invention is applied to a communication apparatus that uses one or more code words to transmit or receive given information in PUSCH. The communication apparatus of the invention uses formula (1) to calculate a number Q'_i of resources in a case of assuming that the i-th code word CW_i is singly used to transmit the given information. The communication apparatus of the invention uses formula (2) to calculate a number Q' of resources in a case where the one or more code words are used to transmit the given information.
